How do I sign my student up for chess classes?

If you would like to register your student for chess classes at The Workshop for the given semester you can do so here. 

Are there any public school chess clubs you work with currently?

While there may be teacher-run chess clubs, Apex Chess is currently not involved with any schools within the Anchorage School District. 

If you would like to inquire about starting a chess club at your associated school, or how to improve your existing club, feel free to reach out! 

Do you offer private chess lessons for individuals? 

Yes! While instructor availability is open, there are opportunities for both online and in-person one-on-one chess instruction. Summer availability is currently closed. 

Do you conduct chess tournaments, and if so, how often? 

Yes! Apex Chess is currently planning Non-Rated scholastic chess tournaments to be held for students on a routine basis to sharpen their playing ability through practical application in a low-stakes tournament environment. More details will be shared once tournaments are booked and confirmed, so stay tuned for the next over-the-board opportunity!
